Our story

Um (움) is an old word for sprout. UmTle (μ›€νŠΈλ‹€) is the verb β€” to sprout, to begin growing.

That's the feeling we're chasing: not the sprout itself, but the act of sprouting β€” the small, hopeful start of a better routine. Not a 12-step overhaul. Just one good ritual, beginning to grow into the next.

Where it started

We noticed wellness was moving faster than the brands selling it.

Matcha went from a quiet cafΓ© order to a full-blown culture moment in about eighteen months. Mushroom coffee, electrolyte packets, gut-health gummies β€” the same thing kept happening: Gen-Z found it first, talked about it nonstop, and then waited months for a brand to catch up with something that actually felt good for them.

We named the brand UmTle for that exact reason. Um (움) is an old, quieter word for sprout β€” and UmTle (μ›€νŠΈλ‹€) turns it into a verb: to sprout, to start budding. We liked that the name wasn't about the destination β€” the full-grown plant β€” but about the moment something decides to begin.

UmTle started as a simple bet: what if a personal care brand treated trend-sensing as seriously as it treats formulation? What if "on-trend" and "genuinely good for you" didn't have to be a trade-off?

What we believe

Three ideas behind everything we make

Belief 01

Health is daily, not dramatic

We're not selling a transformation β€” we're selling the fifteen small choices that quietly add up to one. Matcha in the morning, a walk at lunch, an earlier bedtime.

Belief 02

Trends are signals, not gimmicks

When something spikes β€” matcha, adaptogens, cold plunges β€” we don't see noise. We see thousands of people independently discovering what their bodies want more of.

Belief 03

Simple enough to actually do

The best ritual is the one you repeat. So every UmTle product is built to fit into a real morning, a real bag, a real budget β€” not a fantasy routine.

How we're different

Trend-sensing meets grounded formulation

"To umtle β€” to sprout β€” isn't about becoming a tree overnight. It's just one small push toward the light, repeated until it's a habit."
